Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, 10 bin kadrolu öğretmen atamasını gerçekleştirdi. Atama bekleyen öğretmen adaylarından ismi kurada çıkanlar büyük sevinç yaşarken ataması yapılmayanlar ise hüzünlü bir şekilde salondan ayrıldı.Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Başöğretmen Salonu'nda gerçekleştirilen törene Milli Eğitim Bakanı Nimet Çubukçu , öğretmen adayları ve aileleri katıldı. Törende bir konuşma yapan Çubukçu, yeni yapılacak atamayla eğitim sistemine giren her öğretmenin Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı olarak varmak istedikleri hedefe kendilerini bir adım daha yaklaştıracağını söyledi. Çubukçu, her öğretmen atamasının taze bir kan, yeni bir heyecan getireceğine inandıklarını kaydetti. Dünyanın büyük bir hızla değişim ve dönüşüm yaşadığına işaret eden Çubukçu, bu sürecin ilgi çağının kendine özgü koşulları, kritik düşünebilen sorun çözmede farklı yaklaşımlar getirebilme becerisi kazanmış bireylerin yetiştirilmesini gerekli kıldığını ifade etti. Çubukçu, "Bu bireyleri yetiştirecek olanlar dün olduğu gibi bugün de, gelecekte de öğretmenler olacaktır" dedi. Eğitimdeki hiçbir gelişmenin öğretmenlerin işlevini azaltmadığını belirten Çubukçu, "Aksine herbirimiz içindeki birşey olma kapasitesini ortaya çıkarmak ve geliştirmek için öğretmenlerin rehberliğine daha fazla ihtiyaç duyuyoruz. Ama ihtiyaç duyduğumuz öğretmen altını çizerek söylemeliyim ki nitelikli öğretmendir. Öğretmenlerimiz öğrencisinin ilerisinde olmalı, ona yol gösterebilmeli, danışmanlık ve kolaylaştırıcılık rolü oynamalı, bilgininin güç olduğu gerçeğini bir an olsun unutmayarak becerilerini bir öğrenci gibi geliştirmeli, her zaman niteliklerini artırma arayışı içinde olmalıdır. Önümüzdeki süreçte daha sıklıkla duyacağımız hayat boyu öğrenme alışkanlığını, önce öğretmenlerimizin kazanması gerekiyor ki öğrencilerine, topluma iyi bir rehber ve rol model olsunlar...
